Every once in a while, we stumble upon an artist whose work transcends just great music; Penzance kid Uquine is one such gem of a find, so much so, Google actually questions whether you meant to search, "unique". This singular talent calls himself a "South West Voyager", his website is an engrossing mind map of evolutionary science, links to NASA pages and macabre scenes of mass bison culling - and that same sense of otherworldly curiosity permeates every bar of 'Voyager', his debut track which flutters along in the background with a gossamer drone of synths supporting the youngster's dreamy falsetto. Uquine is one cosmic mystery we can't wait to crack. - DC
