‘Blame’ is another piece of eclectic wizardry from one of our favourite Australian bands of the moment, Tora. Taken from their recently released debut LP, Take A Rest, this track is expansive journey through many of the sonic textures that make up Tora’s album. From sparse electronica and haunting lyrics, to jazzy cymbals and grooving percussion, to surges of underground club house spins. It’s a laid back affair which raises the tempo every so often, but never bursts through the dam. ‘Blame’ is a song that has you hungry for more and you’ll most likely get your fill of Tora’s original experimentations with Take A Rest. - HT
