‘Shotput’ is the new single from inventive alt-pop artist Still Woozy. The North Carolina artist has created a psychedelic patchwork that allows dreamy guitar and groovy percussion to combine to support his unique voice. The track is filled with unique sounds and unexpected twists, but it’s grounded by an impressively accessible pop sensibility. “Shotput is a little slice of the myriad of feelings that you feel when you’re falling in love with someone,” says Still Woozy.  “Nerves, excitement, affection, even loneliness weave their way into the picture when confronted by such an ethereally powerful force.” His new album, Loveseat, is due for release on June 28th, 2024. -Dan Peeke
