With their self-titled album on the horizon - due 16 September via Jagjaguar - Preoccupations have shared a second taste of the full-length. The typically hypnotic, relentless cut grows out of its swelling intro into a heady mix of driving bass, marching drums and a typically languid vocal performance. There's a dark and unsettling hue to 'Degraded', with singer Matthew Flegel concluding "There's nothing left here to compete for. Degrade into a fraction of yourself." The unique outfit are on tour around the world over the coming months and their intensely brilliant live show is not to be missed. G.O'B
