Based in Montreal, 5-piece band Pottery have dropped this upbeat, thick-textured tune ‘Lady Solinas’. The track combines moments of dense, reverby blues riffs with punky tempo changes while the intentional avoidance of a perfectionist’s performance compliments the production style and gives an interesting edge to the band. The entire sound is reflected in the bizarre lyrics such as "Lady Solinas get on your feet, Feel sick and dirty, Your hands are nearly weak, Lady Solinas what’s in your head, You killed Andy, And Avant Garde is dead'. ‘Lady Solinas’ is taken from the upcoming No. 1 EP, out May 10^th, and the band take their live show around the US and Europe in the coming months. -Dan Peeke
