After a period of relative silence, South London-based bedroom-pop artist Pet Grotesque has given us a little snippet of things to come. Made public on Youtube just ahead of its appearance on Solidarity Tapes, a limited edition run of cassettes in aid of refugees, 'Durango' shimmers with airy synth pads, glistening guitar lines and fizzy artificial beats. Showcasing Pet Grotesque's floaty falsetto capabilities, the chorus hook "live in a dream" beckons you towards a surreal utopia that may or may not exist.
