Mike Millrain’s latest track has taken pride of place as the opening track of Pogo House Loves Garage House 2018. ‘Heaven’ is a short, minimalist-inspired tune full of funk influence in its percussive patterns. A retro disco inflection even shows up in the vocal line and wobbly chords, showing the breadth of Millrain’s influences. The London-based producer has been active for a time where he was one of the self-proclaimed "pioneers of the two step garage sound which emerged from London in the late 90's". -Dan Peeke
