Katie Von Schleicher announces her debut full-length album Shitty Hits with her gloriously unconventional first single 'Paranoia'. The Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter and producer's music is magpie-like in nature as she carefully selects elements from a broad palette of different styles and genres ranging from pop to country, to garage rock and psychedelia, blending them effortlessly together to create her own totally unique style. The self-produced track sees warped, gritty guitar lines with country-esque licks met by floating modulated synthesizers which build to a euphoric chorus lead by Von Schleicher's husky vocals. The song addresses the relationship between music and musician and the emotional journey towards finding a true representation of yourself within it.
