California native Melina Duterte pka Jay Som warmed our hearts back in March with her smashing sophomore album Everybody Works. Over 6 months later 'The Bus Song', one of the standout singles from the LP, has been given the video treatment. Roping in fellow indie popper Michelle Zauner better known as Japanese Breakfast on directing duties, it's a sun-soaked affair that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside as it follows Duterte singing and playing in various locations around the Bay Area, accompanied by a merry gang of local musicians. Jay Som heads out with label mates Alvvays later this month, but for now let 'The Bus Song' bring some much-needed brightness to these early autumn days. -HLMX
