GRAE is an upcoming artist with a unique sound she demonstrates through powerful tracks such as the recent ‘Woman’s World’. She speaks on the track here: “Woman’s World was written from a place of disappointment and anger after a night out with my best friend after having experienced my first real encounter with street harassment”. Dealing with this difficult subject with depth and sincerity adds a further element of emotionality to the deeply personal track. Musically, the piece is built on thick textures and subtly interweaved jazz influences, while at the centre of it all lies the empowering voice of GRAE herself.
