Having started the on-the-pulse promotions company and label Slow Dance (Pet Grotesque, Martha Skye Murphy, Sorry's Asha Lorenz) a number of years ago, GG Skips has been an integral part of London's underground seen for a while now. 'Passing Talk' is the first official release under his latest moniker Glows, which pairs danceable processed beats with throbbing synthesized elements. Swelling and retreating throughout, 'Passing Talk' almost sounds like a remix of itself. Accompanied by its similarly disorientating yet thorough intoxicating visuals made by Skips and Kit Whalley-Payne, the video collage creates a strobe-like journey between London and Japan in a surreal fever dream which fully envelops alongside the track's dizzying production. -Holly Mullineaux
