Isle of Wight-based songwriter Curxes (aka Roberta Fidora) released her ridiculously underrated second album Guilded Cage at the end of last year. Now she’s unveiled the brilliantly kitsch space-themed video for stand-out track ‘The Stars, Like Dust’. In typical Curxes style, the clip, directed by Robert Luckins, is quirky and meticulously detailed, featuring puppets handmade by Fidora herself and a heart-melting little Chihuahua. The track itself is sparse and far-reaching as string-like synthesizers stretch out across jittering electronic beats. If you watch one video today, we highly recommend this one. -Holly Mullineaux
