Although it sounds like a band project, The Beach is actually the solo moniker of singer-songwriter George Morgan and he's been going from strength to strength with his Ben Howard style tunes. His new single 'Bite My Tongue' is just as good as Howard's, with a high arching chorus that will uplift you more up than any drug we can think of. All about moments of regret after speaking too quickly and acting too impulsively, it is an easy identifiable adage. His voice is what stands him out and it seems he's got a charitable side too, performing at Stand Up To Cancer at Union Chapel on 3 February alongside none other than Laura Mvula and London Contemporary Voices.
