JMR, a.k.a. Joshua Michael Robinson, had us head over heels with his debut EP, Ritual, which he released just over a year ago. Since then, he’s been ominously quiet – until three days ago when he dropped the glorious ‘Bound’. Taken from his forthcoming EP Boyish, JMR's new release sees him experiment with a more pop-y strain of R&B, with sharp percussion punctuating shuddering synth melodies. As with Ritual, Robinson’s vocals are front and centre, this time pitched down to add weight to his fluttering falsetto.
