Denzel Himself is fast burrowing out of the DIY scene and into mainstream. The 22-year-old has just dropped the explosive video for disruptive single 'BANGIN'’, which is inspired by the likes of Flightless Records' videos and early 2000 Nollywood Horror movies. Having spent two years as a film student, he elected to direct the entire video himself, contrasting scenes in his native London with artsy, cinematic references. Musically it’s incredibly impressive too – Denzel Himself not only wrote but produced the track too, which fuses distorted basslines with hardcore punk hooks.
