Making an impact over the last year with their brilliant eco-orientated debut Come Play In The Trees, the mysterious leaf-laden outfit, Snapped Ankles, have been winning over audiences across the country with phenomenal performances at the likes of Green Man and End of the Road Festival. Returning with another throbbing slice of synthed-up krautrock, ‘Drink and Glide’ combines head-bang-inducing beats with wild, oscillating synthesizers and tripped-out vocals that channel the delay-drenched squarks of Thee Oh Sees' John Dwyer. We’ll be keeping a close eye out for LP2 news in 2019, but for now ‘Drink and Glide’ is more than enough to wet your whistle. -Holly Mullineaux
