London-based producer and electronic musician Kelly Lee Owens has been on an impressive upward trajectory for a while now, with support slots for everyone from (Sandy) Alex G to The xx as well as triumphant festival performances and her own sell-out gigs, this multi-talented woman is a force to be reckoned with. Owens' self-titled debut album, which came out back in March, identified her as a true master of beats, making her the perfect candidate for some exciting remixes and reworks. Her latest offering is exactly that, an intoxicating rework of Mount Kimbie's album track 'You Look Certain (I'm Not So Sure)', which grounds itself in danceable techno and incorporates elements of other-worldly ambience. As main support for Mount Kimbie's imminent UK tour, the timing couldn't be better for Kelly and we're hoping a live version could be on the cards. -HLMX
