‘Bad Dream’ is taken from Onwards To Zion, the latest release from Australian ambient artist Tim Bettison. His moniker, Vancouver Sleep Clinic, has become a major figurehead since the release of his debut EP back in 2014, and his genre blending style has continued to evolve while providing ethereal textures aplenty. This new tune goes down an equally peaceful, yet more acoustic route, exploring the sounds of the acoustic guitar amongst electronic drums, spacious pads and pulsating synths. The video that comes alongside ‘Bad Dream’ is directed by Max Galassi, and plays with ideas of symbolism, imagery and the subconscious. Vancouver Sleep Clinic has been slowly climbing to the top of his field, and this release only strengthens his position. - Dan Peeke
