It's been a busy year for Bristol band Van Zeller. With support slots for Yak, The Big Moon and Blaenavon under their belt, and only a couple of home demos to their name, Van Zeller have become local heroes in the Bristol scene. 'All Or Nothing' is one half of their first official offering, mixed and mastered by Spring King's Tarek Musa, due out with their second single, 'You Can't Lose' as part of this month's Flying Vinyl series. The title of the track is certainly appropriate as the band recall, "We stayed up for 36 hours before recording, and then went straight into the studio to track them both in a single day." There is a fantastic energy, or perhaps a sense of restlessness, about 'All Or Nothing', which overcomes the insomnia and results in an uplifting indie banger. - HLMX
