If you are a fan of super-svelte London outfit Club Kuru, you'll be happy to hear that member Thandi has started her own side project simply entitled....Thandi. Her second only single 'Cameo' has just been unveiled and it is every bit as slinky as her band, finding middle ground somewhere between indie and psych. It's a hazy trip but we love how she kaleidoscopes electronics in and out of focus to take the track in different directions. With a gorgeous voice, we imagine the musical cocktail of this one would be; one part Tame Impala, to one part Goldfrapp, to one part Blondie. With two projects seemingly on the rise, Thandi is one to watch this summer. - SJ
