We've been sitting tight for Tall Ships to sail in with a solid follow up to their stunning 2014 debut album Everything Touching. Well that wait is now officially over as second LP, Impressions, will land on 10th February 2017 via FatCat Records, and to warm us up further for the release, the band have shared new single 'Day By Day'. The second track we've heard from the new record, it gives a real sense of what is come, with its atmospheric hooks and unfurling energy. A romantic number that comes in waves, it looks at the effort and trust that goes into making relationships work. Even though its been a while coming, as ever, we bow to Tall Ships. - SJ
