STILL CORNERS THE PHOTOGRAPH

Picking up where last month's 'Black Lagoon' left off, synth-pop masters Still Corners have revealed another shimmering cut from their upcoming fourth album Slow Air. Described by the band as a “darkly-romantic torch song dedicated to a lover long gone with only a photograph left to remind,” 'The Photograph' is a far-reaching sonic exploration of gleaming guitars, brassy synthesizers and distant drums that reflects the vast, deserted landscape in which it was created. The haunting monochrome visuals are a further nod to this, as we see singer Tessa Murray setting off down an abandoned desert road in slow-mo. Slow Air will arrive on the 18th of August via the band's own Wrecking Light Records. -Holly Mullneaux
