London's Nao lit a fire under the blog world last year at the mere mention of mega-hyped introvert Jai Paul's brother, A.K., helping her out on production duties. It just so happened that the song in question, 'So Good', was a bona fide wonk-pop banger, wired up to the eyeballs on zapping synths, irregular beats and Nao's sugared vocals. 'Inhale Exhale' is the first snippet off her new EP, February 15 - although you can now hear another perfumed number 'Apple Cherry' on SoundCloud - and it's clear to see that she's been hard at work, fleshing out her sound; with bolder, more insistent grooves taking precedence over 'So Good''s scattish, soda-pop swaggering.
