‘Empty Bones’ is taken from Swedish band La Lusid’s brand new, self-titled debut album. The track is full of trippy sound effects and hazy guitar effects, but still gives off an overwhelming upbeat feeling. This is partly down to the keyboard melodies that complement the voice of Paulina Palmgren during the chorus, but also the consistent, bouncy drum pattern that supports the track. As the 6^th track on the album, it is surrounded by hidden gems such as ‘Credits’ and ‘Safe And Sound’ but also the very well received single ‘Gran Canaria’, which is already gaining traction. -Dan Peeke
