GHUM I'M THE STORM

London's GHUM have revealed the video for their recent A-side 'I'm The Storm'. Fusing atmospheric post-punk circa 1980 with Warpaint's meandering art-rock, 'I'm The Storm' explores "the difficulties of being in a relationship and not being able to give what your partner wants. It talks about the silent internal suffering you experience before breaking up with someone, the calm before the storm. And the monster is you." The somewhat unusual accompanying video is set in an industrial estate consisting of footage of the band practising as well as clips of people eating ice cream in the shower, sawing pineapples in half and sliding spaghetti all over the floor. -Holly Mullineaux
