If there's anything that we've learned about London's quick-witted trash duo Frauds, it's that they're always poking fun. With an ingenious press shot snapped outside Peep Show's legendary Apollo House (aka Zodiac Court in Croydon) setting the tone for their new single 'Putin's Day Off', the track itself is an onslaught of octave-pedal-induced guitar riffs and thundering drums that lyrically challenges the way we perceive situations. With crunchy production coming courtesy of Bo Gritz's Max Goulding, 'Putin's Day Off' arrives complete with a brilliantly executed video, which sees vocalist/guitarist Mikey Alvarez painted up in red and blue as a nod to Barack Obama's iconic 2008 'Hope' poster, sporting an albeit unusual hairstyle.
