London-based project Flight To Moonlight is made up of just one member, Adam Baring. The alt-pop he creates on this criminally underrated track is grand, beautifully produced and innovative, drawing on instrumentation and arrangements more complex and satisfying than many chart topping tracks. ‘Sticky Hearts’ opens with bold Latin percussion contrasting the wobbling synth that creates low harmony, before Baring’s Jamie Cullum-esque voice floats above, creating catchy melodies for the next 3 minutes. As every element of the piece combines in polyphony at the end, the production skill heard here is apparent as each melody has its own room to breathe and stand out. -Dan Peeke
