The silence of the middle while all around are screaming.’’ The tension and conflict can be heard within the punishing barrage of reverberated guitars, war-cry howls and thunderous drums. The band somehow possess perfect control over this swirling chaos, showing just how comfortable Fassine are in the latest iteration of their sonic evolution. As front woman, Sarah Palmer explains that through their music, Fassine “try to create small vignettes of people’s lives, their flaws, their strengths, their beauty, their ugliness.
