Formed in Mexico back in 2014, Exploded View is the collaborative project of British-born, Berlin-based Beak>-collaborator Anika. Initially assembled as a backing band for Anika's solo material, Exploded View soon discovered a creative bond that couldn't be left behind and have been making music together ever since. The quartet's brand new single 'Raven Raven' is a deeply experimental cut that sounds a bit like an incredible yet impossible chance meeting between 70s Krautrock pioneers CAN and the infamously gloomy 19th century poet Edgar Allan Poe. It's challenging, eerie, atmospheric and absolutely bloody brilliant. Exploded View's forthcoming second album Obey, will be released by Sacred Bones on the 28th of September. -Holly Mullineaux
