Capitalising on early support from the likes of The 405 and The Line Of Best Fit, Claudia Kane has unveiled her first track of 2016, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from her upcoming EP3. Sitting somewhere amongst the likes of Lana Del Rey, Massive Attack and Bat For Lashes, Kane utilises her gloriously sultry vocal atop gothic, cinematic accompaniment to haunt the listener into a dark, nightmarish atmosphere. The combination of jagged trip-hop elements against cascading, string-filled orchestration, gently twisted key changes and Bond-esque sequences, all ensure “Einstein” is as intelligently intriguing as its name suggests.
