Bella Union's dream pop darlings Arc Iris are following up from 2014’s debut album with the achingly ethereal new offering Moon Saloon, out now. The delicately woven work is a perfect example of their whimsical Americana sound and none more so than lead single ‘Kaleidoscope’. An out of focus indie number sees swathes of gentle guitars punctuated with streaks of vivacious cello; they have created something that settles neatly between folk and indie. The band members all seem to have true virtuoso qualities and the vocals of Jocie Adams are crystalline to the end. Producer David Wrench (FKA Twigs and Caribou) has got these guys in good shape. - SJ
