While many 18-year-olds are wrapped up in their first year at university or their first real world job, Amilli is questioning the uncertainty of life and love with über cool track ‘Maybe’. This one follows lit sensation ‘Rarri’, and reveals a softer, more contemplative side to the young German musician. Still imbued with the language of her peers, Amilli asks “what if you’re my ride or die?” as she traces over memories of a toxic relationship. Oftentimes our teen years provides that first taste of starry-eyed love and later heart-broken anguish. It’s a right of passage through human existence, but that doesn’t make the pain any less, although Amilli has transferred this hurt into the slow-paced, soul pop jam that we have here.
