TMR favourites Wunderhorse have returned with a punchy new genre-bending track in ‘Midas’. It’s their first new music since their debut album, Cub, dropped, and it certainly announces their return in style. Over a punchy two-minutes, they show off a fuzzy, gritty sound topped by the razor-sharp delivery of Jacob Slater. “The song was written in a bathtub in Paris, and forgotten about until it resurfaced in Minnesota,” Wunderhorse explain. “Midas is the guy who makes you feel like a pencil stub, all used up and nothing to show for it, but it’s always just business as far as he’s concerned.” You can catch the band live around the UK this Spring and Summer. -Dan Peeke
