South-London emo ambient artist Siren has a tendency towards the darker and more morose side of life. Her ambient productions are full of pure and honest, depressive expression. After peaking out of the shadows last year, she's on our radar, and has just released a new playlist titled Ambient., consisting of three tunes, our favourite being 'I Wish'. 'I Wish' consists of a subby bass drum and crunchy snare that pave the way for astral synths that move like falling stars. Singing with a doleful tone, but melodic airiness, Siren admits, 'I wish I was a true genius, I wish I lived the life I dreamed'. 'I Wish' is a song that refreshingly depicts self-doubt and depression with no holding back. -Ellie Rose-Davies
