The second single from the exciting, upcoming Mysie is just as ear-catching as her debut ‘Rocking Chair’ and leaves us eagerly awaiting her upcoming debut EP Chapter 11 (due for release May 31^st 2019). ‘Fall Away’ shows off the soulful, prominent voice of the leading lady while she simultaneously represents the African, jazz and experimental influences on her work. Lyrically, she states that the tune is “about growing apart from a toxic relationship. It's about choice”, while of the powerful accompanying video she says “Dottie [the director] came with such a beautiful, personal story to tell. She presented the story in a different light and made this universal. We have all been the children at that table at some point or another whether it be our own family or someone we love”. -Dan Peeke
