'Crazy, Stoned, & Gone' is the latest single from Angelo De Augustine. The 24-year-old Californian, who has recently signed to Sufjan Steven’s Asthmatic Kitty label, has also announced his second album Swim Inside The Moon, which will be released on 18 August. Alongside gently psychedelic animation by Sufjan himself, De Augustine blends his soaring falsetto with lo-fi acoustic guitar work, aligning with the likes of (Sandy) Alex G and nodding back to the brilliance of Elliott Smith, to create the gently melancholy hue.
