The latest single from Tallies is a new version of their incredible single ‘Special’. It features an inspired performance on the cello from Michael Peter Olsen. He brings a new lease of life to the effortless melodic pop of the original, with the cinematic, syncopated strings filling the texture with gripping rhythm. Its jangle-pop roots are still audible, with a casual vocal and calming acoustic guitar filling up the rest of the timbre.
