Someone that we've been keeping a close eye on since they appeared on tastemakers Slow Dance's 2021 compilation with the wonderfully off-kilter 'Lucky', left-of-centre producer, songwriter and captivating vocalist MAY stepped in to her own in 2023. Spearheaded by the bold and powerful single 'PHONE ME', which arrived alongside an appropriately unforgettable video that saw MAY glamorously wielding a baseball bat, the accomplished release felt like an important moment for this rising artist. Backing up her superstar potential with the darker, more surreal, 'Interiya', MAY's impeccable style is also worth noting as we saw her clad head to toe in original Vivienne Westwood pieces that she rented after a visit to The Contemporary Wardrobe Collection.
