Australian trio Middle Kids have got some big news to share. As well as signing to EMI in their native Australia, their hard work has earnt them a recent signing to indie heavyweight Domino for North America. To celebrate, the band have released a video for new single ‘Never Start’. The track is everything we’ve come to expect from the band, with scuzzy guitar lines, live feeling drums, and Hannah Joy’s vocals floating effortlessly over the top. If the response to their previous single ‘Edge Of Town’ is anything to go by (with even Elton John proclaiming his approval on Beats 1), 2017 is looking good for Middle Kids, who are also supporting Cold War Kids on their forthcoming tour. Look out for their self-titled EP, due out in a month’s time. -HM
