Vanishing Animals is the solo project of London-based songwriter and electronic dream pop champion Helena Gee. Her debut single 'GODDESS' is an impressive piece of songwriting, in which an undercurrent of intricate layers of pulsating synthesizers and hypnotic guitars gradually build under Gee's delicate and honest vocals. The accompanying video is loosely based on a scene from David Lynch's 1986 neo-noire classic Blue Velvet as we see Gee donning a satin night dress and flailing around in front of a sofa.
