ZANDER LOST CAUSE
Yorkshire-born, London-based artist Zander returns with his new track, ‘Lost Cause’. It’s an introspective new single that captures the weight of leaving home behind to chase his London dream. The anthemic track’s sound is defined by its acoustic guitar core, with dynamic textures and immaculate production adding shimmering layers. Zander says the track “was written at a time I was really struggling with my move to London from the north and was letting it really get to me. I moved to London to succeed in music, and at the time, it felt like it wasn’t moving as fast as I wanted. I started letting doubt seep in for the first time since I’d moved. The song explores craving mistakes that I’d made, and this is me saying that I wish I could’ve gone back to the times I thought were hard – the time I was having, when I wrote the song, felt harder.” The track, produced by longtime collaborator Hugo M. Hardy, is a taste of his debut EP, No Silver, which is due on November 14th, 2025, via Chess Club Records. -Dan Peeke
