Truly in a league of their own, South London-based singers WOOM have announced their new EP with its partial title track 'Slow You'. Having stunned audiences with their spine-tingling harmonies for a number of years, the quartet have reimagined many existing works in their own unique style and have been roped in by the likes of Caroline Polachek, Grouper and Clarissa Connelly to provide BVs. Marking an exciting new chapter for the group, 'Slow You' is aptly down tempo from the offset. Cradled by a grungey guitar sequence, subtle drones create an ethereal yet unsettling ambience. Taking their time to introduce the breathtaking layers we've come to expect from them, a tempo change provides a welcome sense of momentum without stealing focus from the thoughtful lyricism.
