Whatever The Weather is an exciting new endeavour by the fiercely exploratory electronic artist Loraine James. Delving into an even more ambient realm, '17ºC' is a jittery introduction to James' fresh alias. Cooler in its atmosphere than its temperate title, glacial synth sounds swoop through the mix as melodic samples give colour and dynamics to the complex beat structures that James so intricately weaves. '17ºC' is the first track from an entire album of new material under this guise (which will be released via Ghostly on the 8th April) coinciding with what's sure to be a an enlightening performance at Cafe OTO on the 7th.
