Prolific lo-fi bedroom artists Weatherday and Asian Glow (Weatherglow) have just released ‘Melt A Bed’, the first track off their new collaborative EP Weatherglow. Both artists are renowned in their own right for their lo-fi production styles, emotive lyrics and unique takes on guitar music that are incredible distinctive but hard to define, labeled everything from shoegaze to ‘5th-wave emo’. ‘Melt A Bed’ is a dense mix of crashing cymbals, distorted guitars, strings, tape-hiss that leads into an acoustic breakdown that briefly fades away to reveal a distant sounding auto-tuned pop track before cutting back with to a climactic finish. -Toby Evans-Jesra
