Having let the dust settle on their fantastic recent album Compact Trauma, the mighty Ulrika Spacek have shared a stand-alone release from a similar period of recordings. 'Death on EVS' is the blissed out b-side to 'The Tier Drop'. Boasting the band's signature overlapping guitar parts, and a fragile vocal performance from Rhys Edwards, it's a beautifully restrained offering from an outfit that can easily blow your hair back with their power. Teasing this from the beginning, with carefully crafted feedback, 'Death on EVS' dips in intensity when you expect the opposite (to stunning affect we might add).
