As part of a series of remixes, London-based songwriter and producer Tusks has revealed the TAAHLIAH version of ‘Cold Storm’. In contrast to the slow-burn feel of the original, the reworking adds club-rooted hyperpop sensibilities and shimmering textures that somehow still retain a hazy atmosphere. She says: “I love how Taahliah has reworked this track into a completely different sound but still it sits in the same kind of dreamlike space that it was initially created in. It gives me this deep feeling of nostalgia and euphoria when I listen to it - I really love how she's layered the vocal elements and everything slowly builds to this climax at the end- it's great.” The full EP, Gold - The Remixes, is out on October 1st, 2025, and features remixes from the likes of I.
