Tony Njoku has revealed his new single, ‘Malaise’, taken from the deluxe edition of his acclaimed 2025 album, All Our Knives Are Always Sharp. As with all of his music, it’s an emotionally poignant track that underpins his airy, unique voice with a sonic landscape that sits somewhere between an electronic beat and an otherworldly cinematic composition. He describes the track as being about “personal depression and the disorientation of navigating the vast, atlas-like terrain of the collective consciousness. It grapples with the impossible task of trying to understand why people act as we do, looking from a subconscious level, and what direction the world is heading.
