Irish alt-rock & shoegaze band The Altered Hours have dropped their brand new single, ‘Lay There With You’. It’s a tender, emotive duet filled with a soulful passion that emanates from the dual lead vocals. The atmosphere of the track is defined by its hypnotic, bouncy rhythm played on jangling guitars and Hammond organ, which builds toward a gritty rock riff. Its cinematic nature is furthered by the warmth of recording directly to tape, thanks to the work of analogue producer Julie McLarnon.
