We’ve been digging and have yet to find any concrete info on the mysterious T.R.U.C.E collective, except that they are rumoured to hail from Brighton/London. What is abundantly clear, however, is that their first release ‘Turn of Time’ packs an effortless pop R&B hybrid punch - think relentless, rubbery synth lines, a grinding bassline and soulful, velvety vocals that sound like Pharrell flying through hyperspace. We expect great big things for this enigmatic gang, whoever they are. ‘Turn of Time’ is out now on White Flag. -DW
