SUNGLASZ VENDOR BRICK KING
Bristol band Sunglasz Vendor have burst onto our radar with their grungey new whirlwind 'Brick King'. Described by the band as "a song about watching people change around you", wry lyricism rambles over dynamic instrumentation made up of frantic electric guitar, pounding drums and moody bass. Seesawing between quiet moments of reflection and utterly unhinged interludes, 'Brick King' somehow manages to sound like Meat Puppets, Muse, black midi and 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' by Elton John. With a bunch of live shows in the diary (starting at the Sebright Arms this Friday 17th), now's your chance to catch a promising new trio that can described as anything but boring. -Holly Mullineaux
